My name is Jan Peles and I am a Reiki Master.
I received my first Reiki treatment in the early 1990’s while taking Alternative Health classes under Professor Beverly Burton-Jemison. I was fascinated that the person who gave me my treatment did not touch me as I could feel her hands moving over my body. Energy work. This was very new to me.
Years later, as I was taking yoga classes at Roots yoga, Reiki was often used in combination with yoga. The combination of the two modalities was incredibly powerful. It was then that I felt this strong inner pull to investigate Reiki further.
Owner of White Feather Reiki LLC, Jan practices the traditional Usui system of Reiki healing. Jan is certified in Reiki I, Reiki 2, and Reiki 3. She received her training from Reiki Master Debbie Koske in January 2023.
Jan is the mother to 2 fantastic young women and grandmother to 2 fabulous and very busy grandsons. Jan makes her home in Granby, CT with husband Steve and daughter Brooke.
