Take a Coat, Leave a Coat
During the month of December, the community is invited to bring coats and hang them on the hooks inside the red doors; and anyone in need of a coat can take what they need! Help OSA bring warmth to those who need it this winter by bringing in your gently used, clean winter coats. All sizes are welcome, and feel free to put a pair of gloves and a hat in the pockets of the coat. Help us spread the word so that those who need a coat this winter can come and take what they need.
All coats still remaining after Christmas will be donated to Church of the Good Shepherd in Hartford, Gifts of Love and Safe Harbor warming center.
Shrove Tuesday Questionnaire - IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY FILLED OUT THE SHORT TWO QUESTION SURVEY - PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO HELP US DECIDE WHETHER TO HAVE A SHROVE TUESDAY EVENT ON FEBRUARY 13, 2024.
New signups are available in paper format in the Parish Hall or click on the email link below and we will add you to the list.
Coffee hour volunteer - set up and serve coffee, tea and a snack in the Parish Hall after the 10:00am service on Sundays.
Hosting coffee hour can be whatever you want it to be. Some folks enjoy making it a bigger affair, others pick up some goodies at Costco and keep it simple. It gets eaten and enjoyed thoroughly either way! Coffee is provided by the church and there are instructions on how to use the coffee maker in the kitchen.
Check in visit and flower delivery - In and effort to keep in touch and provit a bit of cheer to the OSA family who cannot be here in person, the vestry is asking for volunteers to arrange a visit and delivery altar flowers when available.
