As baptized members in the Body of Christ, we are called into God’s mission of restoration and wholeness.  

We have declared and reaffirmed, through convention and in particular resolution #7, our commitment to confront anti-black bias and dismantle systemic racism.  This work must be done internally, interpersonally and within our national institutions.  

God invites us through scripture to lament, repent and untether from white supremacy as found in the principalities of life here in the United States of America. The Canon for Mission Advocacy, Racial Justice, & Reconciliation will serve as a resource to this ongoing work, as well as our Racial Healing, Justice, & Reconciliation Ministry Network, and Reparations Task Force.
