I was introduced to the Episcopal Church by my husband, Larry Brickner who grew up in the church. When we were expecting our first child, we started at Trinity, Collinsville. Our son, Nicholas and, two years later, our daughter, Alexis were baptized there.
After a few moves and changes, we returned home to Connecticut and now live in Suffield. Our neighbors, Margery and Bob Warren talked about Old Saint Andrews so much that I decided to try it! And I do feel at home there. I love the rituals of the Church year and the peace and serenity that come with them. It’s hard to find friendlier or more welcoming people anywhere. And there’s always the food and music!
I love trees and flowers- the beauty of the earth. Also, gardening, reading, history, time with my family and being outside as much as possible.
