Katie Dawson is the Music Department Head at Renbrook School in West Hartford, where she teaches vocal and instrumental music and directs the musical theatre program. She holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from The Hartt School where she studied music education, voice, and euphonium. She has taught locally for over ten years. Outside of work, Katie enjoys playing soccer and acting; she recently played Mrs. Wormwood in a community theatre production of Matilda. Katie lives in Newington with her husband, Justin, and dog, Luna.
