My husband and I have been members of Old Saint Andrew’s for seven years. It was an a long, arduous journey that finally brought us the peace and comfort we were seeking, and we are grateful for the spiritual guidance and the wonderful friendships we have formed. I have been a choir member for seven years, and have served on the Hospitality Committee.
I am a retired RN; most of my career has been spent as staff and supervision in the Emergency Department at Saint Francis Hospital and as the Nurse Coordinator of the first free-standing facility for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer in northern Connecticut. Dennis and I reside in Suffield, are parents of three and grandparents to six. In addition, we served as foster parents to 25 children.
The qualities that I hope to bring to the position of co-warden at OSA are organization, responsibility, and a strong concern for this congregation and the community at large. I am humbled and honored to serve with Gwen Findlay and our strong and capable Vestry.
