I moved from Brooklyn, New York to Connecticut in 1982. I was a member of St. James Episcopal church in Hartford and was looking for a church closer to my home in Bloomfield. I was invited to visit OSA by Dick and Martha Dale in 1988. Our children attended the same elementary school and Raschinna and Coley were best friends. On our first visit, Raschinna and Christopher attended Sunday school with Coley and Goeff Dale and after Sunday school, they informed me that this is will be their church from now on.

Over the years here I have served on or continue to serve on the vestry, as convention delegate and alternate, and on the welcoming and usher committees. I am also currently a member of the Hospitality Committee working with the most wonderful and supportive team. I am currently employed as a manager of a Customer Service desk at the Travelers and am looking forward to retiring this year.

My children are now grown and Raschinna lives with her family in Bloomfield and Christopher lives in Windsor Locks. My grandchildren; Shemar, Cameron, Shayne and Shason have been members since birth and three of them were christened in OSA.

I am looking forward to serving in the Warden’s role and working with the vestry. I am confident that together we will continue to make OSA a home for all who enter our doors.
